Many of us get stuck in inaction— the pit of doubt, perfectionism, distractions and planning that stops us from moving forward. Although I don’t believe in being busy all the time doing this and that, people often get lost in the distraction which which results in losing focus on things which really matter — the important stuff. And so today I would like to share 7 rules of action — just some small reminders of things I’ve found useful, common-sense stuff that is often not common enough.

It’s been exactly 40 days since I started my TV Fast. What an experience it’s been! This fast is part and parcel of my 7 Habits for 2010 that I want to implement. Giving up TV is one of them and what better way to start than by going on a fast. Now that it’s been 40 days, I thought I’d share some of my observations on life without TV.

I’m almost halfway through with my ” TV Fast”, day 18 out of 40. Why am I doing this? Well I’ve decided to implement some positive habits this year and reducing TV watching is one of them. You can read more about my 7 Habits for 2010. Not watching any TV for the past couple of weeks has been interesting. I’m gonna highlight some of observations and tell a little bit about this experience so far in this post.

The main motivation for me taking this fast was because I want to get out of the habit of watching TV. I also realized that I watch too much TV and can be using this time (which is a heck of a lot of time) to do something more constructive.
