I’ve changed to a more efficient system to replace the flawed commenting practices that blogs currently employ. There are number of services that look very good, such as SezWho & Disqus. After much deliberation, I have opted to go with IntenseDebate.

Basically, IntenseDebate comments enhances and encourages conversation on my blog. With IntenseDebate I can also can give my blog readers the opportunity to better engage in my blog’s content and each other. It will also allow me to centralize my comments and create a threaded environment that is far more intuitive than the current commenting system. Still think that social media is a fad? Erik Qualman of Socialnomics has put together a fantastic video called “Social Media Revolution”. About a week ago I was interviewed on the Hope Channel. The program segment is called New Media where the host, Thembi Moyo speaks about and shares the various ways of how we can engage in New Media Evangelism. I was the guest on the show and was being asked various questions on blogging, more specifically, writing for blogs. Blogging is one of the many ways one can get involved with New Media Evangelism. Because of the short time we had, I could not elaborate more on the points I mentioned. However, I did my best to try and include the most important aspects of writing on blogs.

At the time of filming this interview, I did not yet have my own domain (www.jodyfransch.com), hence the old blog address which appears on the screen at the end. The interview aired last week on the Hope Channel. Below is video clip of the actual interview.
